
DAVENPORT, Iowa - Having a hard match in Iowa, the Judson University men's tennis team fell to St. Ambrose, 9-0. Judson is now 1-1 on the new season.
Judson came close to earning two points with one in singles and doubles. In the singles competition, Brent Nelson (Zumbry Falls, MN/Century HS) fell in the tiebreaking match, 17-15. He won the first set, 6-2, but then lost the second set, 3-6, before falling in the tiebreaker.
In doubles competition, Nelson and Adam Westhauser (Hartford, WI/Hartford HS) fell to Nick Goodknight and Chris Cassens in the #3 doubles, 8-6.
Judson's next match is on Thursday, September 24th, against Dominican University in Chicago.
