MILWAUKEE, Wisc. - Improving their set wins, Judson University took three points from Wisconsin Lutheran in a 6-3 loss in women's tennis. Judson won one doubles competition, the first of the year, and two singles matches.

Winning at #1 doubles was Brittany Boelter (South Elgin, IL/South Elgin HS) and Danielle Sum (West Dundee, IL/Elgin CC), 8-4, over Hannah Tulberg and Emily Georgson. It was the first doubles win of the season for Judson in match play.

Boelter then double her winning on the day as she took the #2 singles match over Tullberg. The match went to a tiebreaker third set after Boelter fell in the first game, 3-6. She bounced back to win game two, 7-5, and won the tiebreaker, 10-8. Kristin Kress (Bartlett, IL/Bartlett HS) then won the #3 singles with a 6-2, 6-4 victory over Terri Glasel.

Judson will next face Dominican University on Thursday, September 24th, in Chicago.
