
DAVENPORT, Iowa - The push for Judson University's first collegiate meet win in women's tennis is getting closer as they fell to St. Ambrose, 7-2. Judson picked up two wins in singles plays.
The two sets that Judson won is the second and third points that they have earned this year. Danielle Sum (West Dundee, IL/Elgin CC) collected the first point against Elgin Community College. Picking up the two points were Kristin Kress (Bartlett, IL/Bartlett HS) and Melissa Vivian (Dixon, IL/Sauk Valley CC). Kress won the #3 singles with a 6-3, 6-0 win over Melanie Blazevic and then Vivian took the #4 singles match, 7-5, 6-1 over Emily Turner.
Judson will next face Wisconsin Lutheran on September 21st in Wisconsin.
