ELGIN, Ill. - Kamila Marchi (Brazil) and Kaylee O'Brien (Lake in the Hills, IL/Huntley HS) picked up their first two collegiate goals helping Judson University (5-2-1/1-1) to an 8-0 win over Calumet College (1-8/0-1). Six different players for Judson scored in the win.

After a slow offensive first half with 16 shots but only two goals, Judson erupted for six goals in the second half on 26 shots to finish with 42 shots taken on the day. Marchi netted both of her goals in the first half to give Judson a 2-0 lead at the half.

In the 49th minute of the second half, Ashley Williams (Lake in the Hills, IL/Huntley HS) had a break away goal to make it 3-0. After that, Judson scored three goals in a seven minute time span as O'Brien netted two. She had her first of two goals in the 54th minute as she caught the goalie out of the net. Lynsey McFarland (Scotland) landed a goal in the 57th minute and then O'Brien polished off her second goal when a shot came off of the goalie to make it 6-0.
 

Christina Thornton (Algonquin, IL/Dundee-Crown HS) collected her fifth goal of the year in the 69th minute with a kick to the right side of the net to beat the goalie and then Alyssa Low (Hawthorn Woods, IL/Carroll Univ.) finished with the final goal of the match in the 77th minute.

Mackenzie Fowler (Crosby, TX/Crosby HS) posted her third shutout of the season with two saves. Judson's defense only allowed two shots on the match and took 12 corner kicks. They also had 13 offsides.

Judson will host Huntington University on Saturday, September 26th, at 1:00 p.m. in the Homecoming match.
