PORT BYRON, Ill. - In their second meet of the season, Judson University knocked off 48 strokes from their first meet to finish 11th out of 22 teams at the Blackhawk College Invitational.  Judson shot a 315 on the day.  Leading the way for Judson was junior Eric Suits (Elgin, IL/Elgin CC) with a 77.

Just 24 strokes off of the winning team, Black Hawk College, Judson shot their best golf of the year to date.  After Suits 77, Brian Sherwood (Oak Forest, IL/Oak Forest HS) and Zach Galloway (Bloomington, IL/Bloomington HS) both shot a 79.  Zach Gasior (Johnsburg, IL/Johnsburg HS) had an 80 while C.J. Kool (Eureka, IL/Eureka HS) finished with an 83.

On the Judson 'B' team, Brad Talbot (Johnsburg, IL/Johnsburg HS) shot an 87, Joe Caruso a 92, Jordan Block (Omaha, NE/Millard North HS), 94, Tyler Hoover a 100, and Matt Koehling (Big Rock, IL/Hinckley-Big Rock HS) a 116.

Judson will next play in the University of St. Francis (IL) Invitational on Tuesday, September 15th.
