
ASBURY, Iowa - In their first golf meet of the new year and program, Judson University finished 11th out of 13 schools at the Loras College Fall Invitational. Judson finished with a team total of 363 in the one-day tournament as Clarke College won the meet with a 314.
Brian Sherwood (Oak Forest, IL/Oak Forest HS) was the top golfer for Judson finishing in 34th place (88). Following him was Zach Galloway (Bloomington, IL/Bloomington HS) with an 89 in 37th place who also tied with teammate CJ Kool (Eureka, IL/Eureka HS). Zach Gasior (Johnsburg, IL/Johnsburg HS) came in 52nd (97) and Joe Caruso rounded out the five with a 99 in 58th place.
Judson was just one shot off of being in the top 10 as Clarke College II finished with a 362. Judson was also just six shots off of ninth place (Scott CC - 357) and 14 strokes from eighth (Loras College White - 348).
Judson will next play in the Blackhawk College Invitational on Friday, September 11th.
