EAU CLAIRE, Wisc. - In their first match of the day, Judson University collected win #1 on the season with a 3-0 decision over the College of St. Scholastica. Judson then fell to #21 Gustavus Adolphus, 3-0, in their second match. Both teams are NCAA Division III programs.

Overall, Corissa Oelke (Oregon, IL/Oregon HS) had 34 kills on the day while Deb Leganski (Elgin, IL/Elgin Larking HS) recorded 32 digs and Carly Campioni (Crystal Lake, IL/Crystal Lake South HS) had 50 assists.

In match one, Judson took a 25-21, 25-22, 25-23 decision from St. Scholastica. In the match, Oelke had a career-high 20 kills while Danielle Dull (Waupun, WI/Central Wisconsin Christian HS) recorded five kills. Oelke made it a double-double on the day providing 13 digs. Also adding in the digs department was Leganski with 13 and Tracey Enzenbacher (St. Charles, IL/Elgin CC) with eight. Campioni added 34 assists.

Things were a bit harder in match two taking on a top 25 program as Judson fell to Gustavus Adolphus, 25-16, 25-21, 25-16. Oelke once again led the team with 14 kills and was followed by Alesha Wyman (Delavan, WI/Trinity Christian) with five and Korissa Groharing (Byron, IL/Byron HS) with four. Leganski finished with 19 digs and Campioni had 26 assists.

Judson will take on Wisconsin-Eau Claire and Wisconsin-Stout on Saturday, September 5th, in the Wisconsin-Eua Claire Tournament.
