DES MOINES, Iowa - In their final game of the Grand View University Women's Soccer Invitational, Judson University (1-0-1) came away with their first win of the season, 2-0, over Grand View (1-1). Judson scored goals in both halves.

Monique Blanco (Glendale Heights, Ill./Glenbard West HS)  made it 1-0 in the first half off of a Kamila Marchi (Brazil) assist.. The assist by Marchi was her first collegiate assist.

In the second half, Christina Thornton (Algonquin, Ill./Dundee-Crown) scored her 60^th career goal at Judson on a free kick to make it 2-0.

Judson will now host #20 Ohio Dominican on Friday, September 4^th, at 4:00 p.m. This will be the second nationally ranked team that Judson will play in a week.
