ELGIN, Ill. - Two of Becky Stenning's former players are now collegiate head coaches in Taylor Hamstra and Brittany Nicely.  Both will be coaches at NAIA programs.
 
Hamstra, who graduated from Judson in 2006, was named the new softball coach at CCAC opponent Trinity Christian College.  This position will be her first head collegiate coaching position.  She came from Chicago Hope Academy where she started the softball program.  Hamstra played only one season for Judson in 2005.  She was selected a NCCAA All-American, NCCAA All-Region, All-CCAC first-team, and was the team MVP.  She lead the team in hits (50), batting average (.413), doubles (12), and RBI (34).
 
Nicely was selected to lead the Mid-Continent University volleyball program and will be coaching with her sister, Courtney, who is the women's basketball coach.  She played three years of volleyball for Judson and was a four-year member of the softball team.  In softball, she is fifth in at bats (381), 10th all-time in hits (91), and 13th in RBI (37).  In her three years of volleyball, she played in 161 games, had 692 assists, and 481 digs.  She is eighth all-time at Judson in assists and seventh for assists per game.  She is a 2008 graduate of Judson.
