ELGIN, Ill. - The local talent continues to choose Judson University as Eric Suits, from Elgin Community College, has signed to continue his golfing career for the Eagles. Suits, who is from Elgin, has two years of eligibility left for Judson and joins local talent Zach Gasior from Johnsburg High School.

Suits has been a strong competitor for both Elgin High School and Elgin Community College. At Elgin High School, he was their #1 golfer and won three letters. He was given the team MVP award in his senior year and took first place at the Bartlett Hills Tournament with a 34 which was one under the 35 for the course.

At Elgin Community College, he was their second best golfer and was an alternate for the national tournament each year. In both of those years, he missed the national tournament by one shot.

He also has a Judson University connection as his sister, Emily, is a 2006 graduate. He is the son of Jeff and Susan Suits and received his Associates in Arts degree from Elgin Community College.

This will be the first season for men's golf in over 10 years as Chris Watson restarts the program. Watson is a Judson alumnus and local golfer.
