
ELGIN, Ill. - Chris Watson has announced that Bloomington High School standout Zachary Galloway has signed to golf for Judson University. Galloway brings several accolades to the Eagles.
Head coach Chris Watson says, "I am very glad to have Zach join the team. He is a solid player with a lot of potential to improve in his four years at Judson."
Hailing from Bloomington, Illinois, Galloway was a state qualifier and helped his team to the Big 12 Conference Championship. Individually, he placed fifth at the regional tournament and 10th at the Big 12 Conference Championship. He also earned the Raider Spirit Award and finished second at the Danville Invitational. At the Lincoln Sectionals, he shot a 77 and earned the Purple Pride award.
He is the son of Robert and Penny Galloway and is majoring in pre-med.
Judson is bringing back men's golf after 12 years and head coach Chris Watson has signed several golfers for the new team.
