ELGIN, Ill. - Finishing the year on an academic note, the Judson University softball team had two players earn academic awards. Lizzy Jacobson and Tricia Lakotish both were named scholar-athletes.

Jacobson earned NAIA and NCCAA scholar-athlete awards for her grade point average along with being named to the CCAC All-Academic Team.

Lakotish earned the NAIA scholar-athlete award along with being named to the CCAC All-Academic team. This is the second year in a row that she has been a NAIA scholar-athlete.
