
ELGIN, Ill. - Deciding to play her college career at Judson University, women's basketball player Rachel McBride will be a part of Jim Cook's 2009-10 team. McBride will be coming to Judson from Decatur, Illinois.
The Lutheran School Association standout won a combined 11 letters in her high school career in basketball, volleyball, and soccer. She was a 2008 and 2009 Herald and Review First-Team selection for basketball and a three-time member of the Okaw Valley All-Tournament team. She helped her team to four straight conference championships along with two regional championships.
Outside of athletics, she participates in student government, leadership council, and yearbook. She is also a member of the National Honor Society and has received the Rotary Club acknowledgement for academics and athletics award. She is the daughter of Michael McBride and Cheri Lang.
