ELGIN, IL. - With the stellar year that Judson University baseball had, three players earned all-CCAC status for their play. Heath Groves (Indianapolis, IN) and Tim Victor (Mokena, IL) were voted onto the first-team while Zach Williams (Bloomington, IL) was an honorable mention selection.

Groves, a junior, went 6-2 on the year with a 3.65 ERA. He had complete game wins over St. Xavier and Purdue-North Central in which both teams went to the NAIA National Tournament. He also had CCAC wins over Calumet College, Trinity Christian, Robert Morris, and St. Francis. He finished with 30 strikeouts on the year in 66.2 innings pitched with two shutouts (St. Xavier, Trinity Christian). In a single season at Judson, he finished sixth all-time in wins (6) and third in winning percentage (.750)

Victor, who was a senior and played only one season at Judson, was the other all-CCAC first-team selection. He was also named to the CCAC Gold Glove Team for his play behind the plate.  He played in 45 games and had a .315 batting average with 14 doubles, three home runs, and 24 RBI. As a catcher, he picked off eight runners and threw out 18. With 14 doubles, he is seventh on the Judson single season list.

Williams, a junior, started and played in 45 games while leading Judson with 40 RBI. He broke the Judson record for triples in a season with six and finished second in RBI (40), third in runs scored (42), eighth in hits (55), 10th in stolen bases (11) and at-bats (147), and 12th in walks (21). In the CCAC he was third in triples, fifth in stolen bases, and 10th in on-base percentage (.463).

Judson finished the season with 30 wins and was third in the CCAC which are both program records. Judson also broke nine single season Judson records.
