OAKLAND CITY, IND. - Splitting a double header with NCAA Division II Oakland City University, Judson University fell in game one, 4-3, but bounced back for a 6-2 win in game two. Phillip Stewart picked up the win for Judson in game two.

Game 1
Oakland City 4, Judson 3

Oakland City scored two runs in the bottom of the seventh inning to pick up the one-run win and break Judson's seven game winning streak. Judson scored one run in the first inning when Bret Ehrlich singled in Kevin Fischer. In the top of the fourth inning, Judson added two more runs to make it 3-0. Matt McHenry doubled home Zach Williams for the second run of the game and then two batters later Mike Krueger gave up his at-bat with a sacrifice fly as McHenry scored.

Oakland City had one-run innings in the fourth and fifth to bring Judson's lead to one, 3-2. It was the bottom of the seventh, then, that was the difference as Judson fell.

Ehrlich went 2-of-4 with one RBI as Mike Krueger also had a RBI. John Banks took the loss for Judson.

Game 2
Judson 6, Oakland City 2

Bouncing back for a four-run win, Judson won their 29th game of the year. Judson was only up one run, 3-2, heading into the top of the seventh when they unloaded for three runs for a four-run security lead.

Williams and Bobadilla each had a RBI in the first inning as Judson took a 2-0 lead. In the second inning, Jake Bostwick singled in Angel Cisneros for the three-run lead. Oakland City added one run in the bottom of the second and the bottom of the fourth to make it a one-run game.

In the top of the seventh, Zach Scipione hit a three-run home run to put Judson up 6-2. Jason Egli was the fifth pitcher used by Judson to finish up the game as Judson took the win.

Stefan Alinkas went three innings and gave up one earned run with one strikeout. Phil Stewart, Scott Newton, and Zac Phillips all worked an inning before Egli closed the game.

Scipione led Judson as he went 3-of-4 with three RBI while Manny Bobadilla was 2-of-4 with one RBI.
