ELGIN, IL. - Picking up Judson University's first CCAC "Player of the Week" award is senior Zach Scipione. Scipione hit .545 in four games and had eight RBI while helping Judson set a new program record for wins at 28.

Scipione had a .636 slugging percentage with one double and three runs scored. In all four games played, he did not walk or strikeout. In a key CCAC series with Robert Morris College, he batted .500 and recorded two RBI in game two that cut Robert Morris' lead to one, 3-2. He also hit in the tying run in game one against Robert Morris. Judson won both games, 4-3, and 7-6, to keep their hopes alive for the NAIA National Tournament.

Against Indiana-Northwest, he helped Judson to a sweep that gave Judson their 27th and 28th wins of the year to break the program record for wins in a season. The 19 CCAC wins is also a program record.

Judson is just three games behind St. Xavier with three games left for the CCAC in the season. They are currently 29-20 on the year and 19-8 in the CCAC.
