
ELGIN, IL. - Continuing her running career at Judson University, Ana Garcia has chosen to run collegiately for the Eagles. Garcia is coming to Judson from Maywood, Ill., and Walther Lutheran High School.
Garcia, who was one of the top runners for her team, is a two-time team MVP. She finished third at the Concordia University Classic in the fall. She has also been named the team rookie of the year in both track and cross country. In track, she helped her team to the Class A sectional championship. This spring, she won the Lisle Mega Meet's 3200 meter run with a time of 12:05.92.
At Walther Lutheran, she participates in the women's choir and the fall play. She has been on the honor roll and earned academic awards in algebra, Spanish, and art.
She is the daughter of Jose and Carol Garcia and is undecided in a major.
