
Vitor Bravo gave Judson a 1-0 lead quickly in the first half as he loafed in the first goal in the 7th minute. He put the ball in off an assist from Mark Howlett and Leonardo Silva.
In the second half, Gustavo Oliveira made it 2-0 in the 67th minute when Howlett and Milos Bajic found him open. In the 79th minute, Bethel cut the lead to one with their only goal. JU’s Petar Bajic gave JU a security goal in the 86th minute for the 3-1 lead as Howlett picked up his third assist on the night along with Oliveira.
Kyle Selph started in goal and recorded four saves. JU had 13 shots to BC’s six.
Head coach Steve Burke says, “We played extremely well tonight and moved the ball around great. This is one of the best games we have played all year.”
Judson will play their third match on the road with a CCAC match vs. Cardinal Stritch on Tuesday, October 16th, at 7:00 p.m. in Milwaukee, Wisc.
