
MISHAWAKA, IND. - On day two of the Bethel College Tournament, Judson University faced the University of Wisconsin-Oshkosh, twice, and split with winning game one, 8-5, but falling in the second game, 8-0. Judson is now 22-21 on the year and needs three wins to break the school record for wins set in a season.
Virginia McAndrews won game one going the distance and recording nine strikeouts. Carrie Sensor went 2-of-4 to lead Judson. Nicole Dimiceli, Lizzy Jacobson, and Sam Gladen all had two RBI each while Perez and Krueger each had one.
With the score tied at five, Judson scored three runs in the bottom of the sixth inning to come away with the win.
It was a different story in game two as Wisconsin-Oshkosh blanked Judson, 8-0. Wisconsin-Oshkosh scored seven runs in the bottom of the first inning and Judson never recovered. Jacobson started and went 0.1 innings giving up seven earned runs. Alyssa Cook went four innings and gave up only one run. Carrie Sensor had two of Judson's three hits.
Judson will travel to Calumet College on Tuesday, April 21st, for a CCAC series.
