BOURBONNAIS, IL. - Olivet Nazarene University broke a 2-2 tie by scoring five runs in the fifth and sixth innings to take an 8-2 win over Judson University in the first game of the CCAC series.  Heath Groves took the loss.
 
Groves went five innings and gave up four runs with five strikeouts.  John Banks went one inning and gave up three unearned runs and then Jason Elgi finished the final two innings and gave up three hits and one earned run.
 
Bret Ehrlich, Tim Victor, and Trent Golz each had two hits for six hits for Judson.  Zach Williams and Golz each had a RBI.
 
Judson scored first in the top of the inning with ONU tying the game in the bottom of the inning.  The fourth inning then mirrored the first inning with each team scoring a run for the 2-2 tie.  ONU then scored two in the fifth and three in the sixth with their final run in the eighth to make it 8-2.
 
Judson will host Olivet Nazarene in a double header on Saturday, April 18th, at 1:00 p.m.
