ORMOND BEACH, FL. - Dropping two games to #19 Missouri Baptist, Judson University had leads in both games but could not hold on in 5-3 and 14-4 losses. Judson is now 2-5 on the year.

Game 1
#19 Missouri Baptist 5, Judson 3

With the tying runs on second and third base in the seventh inning, Judson had a chance to win the game but could not get the hit needed in the game one loss. Scott Baier went 5.1 innings for the loss and gave up five earned runs on six hits. Jason Egli finished the game and only allowed one hit.

Judson scored all three of their runs in the third inning. Zac Williams brought in two of the three runs with a double. Williams, Kevin Fischer, Bret Ehrlich, and Matt McHenry all had one hit for Judson.

Game 2
#19 Missouri Baptist 14, Judson 4

Heading into the sixth inning, Judson had a 3-2 lead when the wheels fell off of the Eagle defense. Judson started off the sixth inning allowing three straight errors that lead to eight runs in which six were unearned. Josh Banks, who received his first collegiate start, went 4.2 innings and only gave up two earned runs with six hits and three strikeouts. Jason Egli, who received the loss, went 0.1 innings and pitched in the sixth. Finishing out the game on the mound were Scott Newton, Zac Phillips, and Royce Krueger.

Williams went 2-of-3 with a RBI to lead the team. Ehrlich and McHenry each had a hit and RBI. Also receiving one hit were Mike Krueger, Manny Bobadilla, and Angel Cisneros (2B).

Judson will play the University of St. Francis (IN) in a single nine-inning game on Thursday, March 12th, at 10:00 a.m.
