
ELGIN, IL. - Becoming the first signee for the 2009 season, Elgin Larkin High School standout Danny Hinterlong has committed to the Judson University men's soccer team. Hinterlong brings several awards with him to Judson.
The two-year varsity letter winner is an all-Area and all-Conference selection. He was a part of the Leyden Elite XI and an all-Academic selection for the conference. This past season (2008) Larkin went 22-2 and were the conference champions. He has also helped Larkin to the Pepsi Showdown championship and the 2007 regional championship. Larkin was a sectional finalist, too, in 2007. Outside of soccer, he has participated in volleyball and basketball.
In club soccer, he is a part of the F.C. Barrington club and helped them to the MRL playoffs and the State Cup championship.
He is the son of Kenneth and Taweepawn Hinterlong and will major in finance at Judson.
