ELGIN, IL. - Adding to the already talented class for 2009, head coach Diego Cevallos has signed three players from Huntley High School. Kristina Barreto, Kaylee O'Brien, and Lauren Opolony all will be continuing their soccer careers at Judson University.

These three players have helped Huntley High School to two straight Fox Valley Conference Fox Division Championships and regional championships. They have also played for the sectional championship, once. Last season, they went 21-2 and finished their season in the sectional championship match and the team, overall, has recorded 35 shutouts in the last 45 matches. Just recently, ESPNRise.com did an article on this year's Huntley High School team and the progress of their success over the past seasons.

Barreto is a three-year letter winner that plays in the midfield. She has won the sportsmanship award under head coach Kris Grabner. She is the daughter of Robert and Patti Barreto and is undecided in her major at Judson. She also participates in club soccer for KUFC Premier under Dwayne Cruz.

O'Brien has been a starter all three years she has played on varsity. She is an all-Area and all-Conference selection along with leading the team in assists. She is the daughter of Robert and Jude O'Brien and will major in psychology at Judson. She has played club soccer for the Crystal Lake Force.

Opolony is a two-sport athlete that also participated in basketball. She has been a three-year starter for Grabner while playing in the midfield. She is the daughter of Jim and Sue Opolony and is undecided in her major at Judson.
