ELGIN, IL. - Signing a local product from Elgin Larkin High School, head women's soccer coach has announced that Kelli Johnson will continue her soccer career at Judson University. Johnson has been a big part in Larkin High School's success.

The three-sport athlete has gained letters in soccer, volleyball, and tennis. In soccer, she has been a two-time all-Area and all-Conference player. As a freshman, she gained all-Area and all-Conference honorable mention and then was all-Area honorable mention as a sophomore. Last year, she was the team captain and named all-Area and All-Conference. In 2006, she helped her team to a 20-5-1 record and to the regional and sectional championships. Outside of athletics, she has been a part of the honor roll all four years. She has also participated in club soccer for the Crystal Lake Force Elite.

She is the daughter of Brian and Margie Johnson and will major in elementary education.
