TUCSON, AZ. - In their first games of the Tucson Invitational, Judson dropped both games to start the season off 0-2. Both Cornerstone University and Jamestown College took the close games. Judson fell to Cornerstone, 5-4, and Jamestown, 10-8.

Game 1
Cornerstone 5, Judson 4
 
Cornerstone hit the go-ahead run in the bottom of the seventh inning for the 5-4 win over Judson. Judson scored three runs in the first inning and one in the third inning for their four runs. Liz Jacobson smacked a two-run home run for Judson for two of the four runs.
 
Victoria Perez pitched six innings and then Virginia McAndrews tossed the final inning for the loss.
 
Game 2
Jamestown 10, Judson 8
 
Judson fell in another close game to Jamestown College, 10-8. Carrie Sensor went 3-of-3 with a RBI in the loss. Jacobson provided a two-run single to help. Judson scored two runs in the first inning, one in the second, four in the fifth inning, and one in the seventh inning.
 
Jacobson took the loss for Judson going 3.1 innings while McAndrews finished the rest of the game.

Judson will play three games on Tuesday, March 10th, starting at 1:00 p.m. central time.
