
ELGIN, IL. - Judson University will be the #2 seed in the CCAC men's basketball tournament starting on Monday, February 23rd. Judson will host Purdue-North Central at 7:00 p.m. in the Lindner Fitness Center at 7:00 p.m.
Judson is currently 20-10 and finished 10-2 in the CCAC tying for the regular season championship with Cardinal Stritch and Trinity Christian. Cardinal Stritch received the #1 seed through the tie breaker due to a higher burbridge. Cardinal Stritch had a 6.63 burbridge and claimed the #1 spot by .03 because Judson's burbridge was 6.60. Cardinal Stritch receives the first round bye as the #2 through #7 seeds play each other.
Judson swept their season series with Purdue-North Central winning 97-73 in the first meeting in Indiana and then claiming an 85-68 victory in Elgin. Purdue-North Central is 4-26 on the year and finished 1-11 in the CCAC.
If Judson wins, they will face the winner of the Trinity Christian vs. Purdue-Calumet game on Wednesday, February 25th, at 7:00 p.m. in the Lindner Fitness Center.
