Chicago, Ill . – It was a hard night in Chicago for the Judson Eagles (3-4-1/1-3) as the women’s soccer team fell to Robert Morris, 4-1, in CCAC play. JU’s only goal came late in the second half.
Robert Morris (6-4/3-1) opened up with two goals in the first half. RMC took a 1-0 lead in the 17th minute and then made it 2-0 with a goal in the 36th minute. They then scored in the first three minutes of the 2nd half to extend their lead to three and followed that with a fourth goal in the 73rd minute.
 

Judson’s Christina Thornton (Algonquin, Ill.) netted the Eagle’s only goal in the 81st minute.

JU’s Rebecca O’Donnell (Wheeling, Ill.) recorded five saves. JU did have more shots on goal, 11-7, but could not find the net.
 
Judson will have their second of three matches in five days as they travel to Iowa on Thursday, September 27th, to face St. Ambrose at 5:00 p.m.
