ELGIN, IL. - Leading the entire game, Judson University (18-10/8-2) won their 18^th game of the season with a 73-64 win over Trinity International University (5-23/4-6). Judson has now won six in a row and is only the seventh team in Judson history to win 18 or more games. With the win, too, Judson will now face Trinity Christian for a chance at the CCAC regular season championship on Wednesday, February 18^th, at 7:30 p.m.

Everybody that was in uniform played for Judson as Dewayne Robinson led the way with 16 points. Josh Edwards gave Judson 15 points while Josh Weber made 14 points. Dovydas Retkus led all rebounders with 11. Ignas Verbus had 13 points for Trinity International.

Judson came out on fire in the first half as they took a 19-4 lead in the first seven minutes of the game. Judson defense held Trinity International to single digits until the 5:24 mark when the Trojans made one of two free throws. Judson their largest lead of 25, 35-10, with 3:32 left in the half when Landon Skinner made a layup. Trinity International cut the lead to 18 by the half, 38-20.

Keeping the lead in the 20s for most of the second half, Judson had a 20-point lead, 70-50, with 5:42 left in the game. Trinity International made a 14-3 run in the final minutes to cut the lead to nine, 73-64.

Judson shot 52% overall and made 35% of their three-point shots but only went 9-of-20 from the foul line (45%). Trinity International finished shooting 37% from the floor, 27% from three-point land, and 60% from the stripe. Judson out rebounded the Trojans, 44-29, but turned the ball over 22 times. Judson recorded four blocks.

Judson will now play for the lead in the CCAC on Wednesday, February 18^th, against Trinity Christian College, at 7:30 p.m. in Palos Heights. Trinity Christian is one-game ahead of Judson in the CCAC and if Judson wins they will be tied for first.
