ELGIN, IL. - Coming back from as many as 14 points, Judson University (16-9/6-2) took a seven-point win, 67-60, over Trinity International University (15-11/4-4) in CCAC play. With nine minutes to go in the game, Judson was down by five, 48-43, when they went on an 18-4 run to take a nine-point lead, 61-52. Earlier in the first half, Trinity International University had a 14-point lead, 26-12, and Judson put together a 13-5 run to cut the lead to three at the half, 28-25.

Kirstin Johns gathered her second career double-double with 23 points and 11 rebounds to lead Judson. Crystal Goodall added 16 points and Kristi Siemers 11 points for Judson. Alicia Rovertoni, who is 12^th in the nation for rebounding, grabbed 12 rebounds for Judson. Renna Perera had 19 points for Trinity International.

With the game tied at eight, just over four minutes into the game, Trinity International put together an 18-4 run to take a 26-12 lead. Judson did not hit double digits on the scoreboard until the 8:11 mark. Judson then answered with their own 13-0 run over the next six minutes to cut the lead to one, 26-25, before the Trojans hit a bucket just before the half ended.

Judson made a difference in the second half as they shot 55% compared to 21% in the first half and also made 66% from three-point range. Judson took a little more time to catch up as Trinity International boosted their lead to eight, 39-31, just four minutes into the second half. With 9:04 left in the game, the Trojans still had a seven-point lead, 50-43, and Judson's offense kicked in to take over the game. Over the next eight minutes, Judson had an 18-2 run for a nine-point lead, 61-52. That run broke Trinity International as they could not make up the difference in the seven-point loss.

Judson, who is in second place in the CCAC, will travel to Trinity Christian on Wednesday, February 18^th, for a CCAC game at 5:30 p.m.
