Judson 80, Purdue-Calumet 74
 

HAMMOND, IN. - Hitting their free throws in the second half, Judson University (15-9/5-2) held off Purdue University-Calumet (10-16/4-5), 80-74. Judson went 19-of-22 from the free throw line hitting 86%.

Crystal Goodall (Atlanta, GA) put up a career-high 22 points as she led four players in double figures. Alicia Rovertoni (Columbia, IL) had her 18th career double-double with 16 points and 14 rebounds while both Aubrey Parsons (Sterling, IL) and Kirstin Johns (Belvidere, IL) added 15 points. Johns also had nine rebounds and four steals.

Judson only had a four-point advantage at the half, 37-33, and outscored Purdue-Calumet, 43-41, in the second half for the six-point win. Judson shot 40% from the floor, 45% from three-point range, and 86% from the line. They also out rebounded Purdue-Calumet, 44-42, but had more turnovers, 18-17.

Judson will now host Trinity International on Saturday, February 14th, at 5:30 p.m. in CCAC play at the Lindner Fitness Center.
