ELGIN, IL. - The beginning of a new program started on Thursday, February 5th, as Judson University golf coach Chris Watson signed the first-ever women's golf player in Rachael Bradley from Wheaton, Illinois. Judson University will begin play in both men's and women's golf in the fall 2009.
"We are so excited to have Rachael be a part of the first Judson Women's golf team," quotes head coach Chris Watson. "She was a pivotal member of the Wheaton North Girls golf team and I am sure she will be instrumental in helping Judson build a solid foundation for our program."
Bradley will be coming to Judson from Wheaton North High School where she was a member of the girl's golf team. She is a two-year letter winner for North High School and a scorer on the 2007 team that won the 19th annual Celtic Swing Tournament. She has also been a member of the DuPage Valley Conference All-Academic team. Outside of girl's golf, she is a member of the Academic Achievement team, gymnastics team, and speech team.
Rachael is continuing family tradition coming to Judson as her father, Will, is a 1983 alumnus of Judson University. She is the daughter of Will and Brenda Bradley and will major in youth ministry with a minor in teaching.
