#16 Robert Morris 102, Judson 64

Chicago, IL - In their second game at the Robert Morris College Classic Judson University lost to #16 Robert Morris College 102-64. Robert Morris is a NAIA Division I program and been ranked as high as #2 in the nation this season.

Judson would take a two point lead with a good jumper by Landon Skinner with 16:50 left in the half. This gave Landon two of his team leading 22 points. The lead was short lived with Robert Morris tying the game back up only 11 seconds later. Robert Morris would slowly add to their lead over, eventually opening it up to a 10 point lead with 9:15 remaining in the first half. Robert Morris would then go on a 9-2 run over the next four minutes opening the lead to 17 points, 34-17. Judson would answer this run with their own 9-2 run over the next minute and a half, cutting Robert Morris's lead back to 10, 38-28. Capping the run was Nate McNeely with a three-pointer giving him 3 of his 6 points. Robert Morris would open the lead back up with a 9-1 run to close out the first half. The score at half time was Robert Morris leading by 18 points, 47-29.

Judson would cut into the lead slightly in the early minutes of the second half when a layup by Landon with 16:41 left in the game. This made the score 52-37 and cut Robert Morris's lead to 15 but this was as close as Judson would get for the rest of the game. Robert Morris would go on a 9-0 run starting at 16:10 remaining in the game and would last for the next two minutes expanding their lead to 24. They would then slowly build the lead up to 38 points over the rest of the game. The final score was Robert Morris over Judson, 102-64.

Leading all scorers in the game was Robert Morris's Reggie Bunch with 27. Judson's leading scorers were Landon Skinner with 22 and Dovydas Retkus with 12. Dewayne Robinson led Judson rebounders with 11.

Robert Morris would out rebounded Judson, 56-35. Judson was also outshot, 47% to 35%. Judson turned the ball over 28 times to Robert Morris's 26.

Judson will next play December 29^th at the Hope College (MI) Tournament against Madonna University at 5:00pm.
