Judson 95, St. Francis 82

Chicago, IL - In the first game at the Robert Morris College Classic, Judson University defeated St. Francis University, 95-83. Judson had five players score in double digits.

The first half was hard fought with the game being tied up six times and the lead changing teams five times. Judson scored first with a 3 pointer from Ben Rayhorn. St. Francis wet the pace for the first half by answering back with their own three pointer on the very next possession. At 3:27 Dewayne Robinson would hit a Jumper giving him two of his 19 points tying the game for the third time at 8-8. St. Francis would go on a small 8-2 run over the next two minutes giving them their largest lead of the first half at 16-10. Judson would then go on a 9-0 run over the three minute with Josh Weber hitting a three pointer to tie the game at 16-16 with 11:42 left in the half. Then Landon Skinner would cap off the run with a three pointer with 10:50 left in the half. The rest of the half was back and forth with St. Francis leading 43-40 at its end.

Judson would tie the game back up with another three-pointer from Rayhorn only 33 seconds into the half. This was the start of a 12-2 run for Judson being capped off with Layup from LeStan Hoskins. Judson would not give up the lead again. With 14:29 left in the game St. Francis would come two points away from tying it back up 54-52, but Judson would go on a 13-0 run over the next four minutes opening up Judson's biggest lead of 15 points. Judson would win the game, 95-82.

Leading all scorers for the game was Judson's Landon Skinner and Josh Edwards with 20 points each. Other leading scorers for Judson were Dewayne Robinson with 19, Josh Weber with 16 and Ben Rayhorn with 12. Josh Weber led everyone with 17 rebounds giving him a double-double for the game.

Judson out rebounded St. Francis for the game, 50-35. Judson Shot 45% for the game, including 34% from three point range.

Judson will play next tonight, December 20^th, at 3:00pm against Robert Morris College in the Robert Morris College Classic.
