Ohio Dominican 117, Judson 79
 
MISHAWAKA, IND. - A slow night from the three-point line and 27 turnovers led to a 117-79 loss for Judson University (6-5) against Ohio Dominican (6-4) in the Gates Automotive Classic at Bethel College. Judson shot only 20% from beyond the arc and was also out rebounded, 53-39.
 

Despite the low shooting percentage, Judson still had four players in double figures as Landon Skinner and Caleb Sutton led Judson with 16 points each. The 16 points by Sutton is a career-high. LeStan Hoskins finished with 13 points and Josh Edwards added 10. Darrien Douglas had 20 points for Ohio Dominican.

Judson took an early 3-0 lead only to see Ohio Dominican come soaring back with five straight points for a 5-3 advantage. That was just the beginning for Ohio Dominican as they scored 61 points in the first half to Judson's 36. Ohio Dominican shot 51% in the first half and went 6-of-9 (66%) from the three-point line. Judson shot better the second half but could not make up the first-half difference.

It was a rough game as Judson was called for 29 fouls and Ohio Dominican went to the free throw line 37 times making 26 (70%). Judson shot only 17 free throws and made eight. One of the biggest factors in the game was Judson's 27 turnovers to eight steals. Judson also had their worst night of the year from three-point range making only five shots on 25 attempts and from the floor (41%). Ohio Dominican finished shooting 55% from the floor, 47% from beyond the arc and 70% from the free throw line.

Judson will now face #2 Bethel College for the second time this season at 2:00 p.m. central time in the Gates Automotive Classic. Bethel is a perfect 13-0 on the season and has stayed at #2 in the nation since the pre-season poll. Ohio Dominican is receiving votes in the latest NAIA Division II poll.
