CHICAGO, IL - Holding onto a two-point lead at the half, North Park University (1-4) outscored Judson (5-5), 48-22, in the second half en route to a 78-50 win over the Eagles. Judson only made eight shots from the floor in the second half and one three-pointer the entire game.

Devonaye Henderson (Ellenwood, GA) was the lone Judson player in double figures as she had 12 points. Aubrey Parsons (Sterling, IL) added nine points. Henderson and Tianna Forrest (Elgin, IL) led the team with six rebounds.

After Judson tied the game at 30 just seconds into the second half on an Alicia Rovertoni (Columbia, IL) layup, North Park went on a 22-4 run over 10 minutes for an 18-point lead, 52-34. Judson hit their lone three-pointer in the second half as they shot only 7% from three-point land the entire game.

The first five minutes of the game were the best for Judson as they had a three-point lead, 9-6, at the 14:16 mark when Parsons converted a layup. North Park then tied the game at nine (12:52) and took a two-point lead on free throws just a minute later. Judson's Megan Boxberger (Overland Park , KS) tied the game for the third time with two free throws at the 10:56 mark. Just 20 seconds later, North Park made it 13-11 but Henderson tied the game for a fourth and final time at 13 with 10:08 left in the half.

North Park went on an 8-1 run over five minutes for a seven-point advantage, 21-14. Judson did cut the lead to three, twice, and then with 15 seconds left in the half came within one, 29-28, on a Henderson layup. North Park converted one of two free throws with 11 seconds left to take the two-point halftime advantage.

Judson only shot 31% from the floor and 7% from beyond the arc and made 52% of their free throws. North Park made 52% of their shots but did not make any three-pointers and was 30-of-39 (76%) from the free throw line. Judson had 19 turnovers to North Park's 18 and each team had eight steals. North Park also out rebounded Judson, 44-30.

Judson will now host Silver Lake College on Friday, December 5th, at 5:30 p.m. at the Lindner Fitness Center.
