Judson 71, Taylor Fort Wayne 49
Fort Wayne, IN - After a close first half, Judson University (5-4) pulls away from Taylor University Fort Wayne in the final 10 minutes for a 71-49 win. Four players for Judson scored in double digits and Alicia Rovertoni (Columbia, IL) had a double-double with 12 points and 11 rebounds.
The first half was very close and hard fought. Both teams played well and kept the game very close. The score at half time was Judson leading 28-26.
For the first 10 minutes of the second half the game continued to be close, though Judson did expand their lead to six points. The score at this time was 47-41. Judson would start pulling away in the final ten minutes by going on a 24-8 run to finish out the game for the victory. The final score was Judson over Taylor Fort Wayne 71-49.
Leading the scoring for Judson was Alicia and Kristi Siemers (Bensenville, IL) with 12 each. Devonaye Henderson (Ellenwood, GA) and Aubrey Parsons (Sterling, IL) contributed to the scoring, each scoring 10 points. Alicia also led in rebounding for Judson with 11 and Crystal Goodall (Atlanta, GA) had 6 rebounds.
Judson will play their next game still on the road at North Park University. The game will be on December 2nd at 7:00 p.m.
