Gary, IN. - Losing a heartbreaker on the road, the Judson University women's basketball team fell to Indiana-Northwest, 59-58, to fall to 1-3 on the year. Judson was led by junior Alicia Rovertoni's 16 points and 20 rebounds for her first double-double of the year.
Indiana-Northwest made a free throw with just under five seconds to go. Judson took the inbound pass with three seconds left and took a time out at half court. Judson, then, with just under a second to shoot the ball, missed the shot from way out for the win.
Kirstin Johns added nine points and Aubrey Parsons eight for Judson. Judson shot 33% from the floor, 16% from three-point range, and 56% from the line. They out rebounded Indiana-Northwest, 42-41, and forced 24 turnovers. Judson had a one-point lead at the half, 27-26.
Judson will now travel to Minnesota on Friday, November 21st, to face Wisconsin-River Falls in the Northwestern (MN) Tournament at 2:00 p.m.
