Against Cornerstone, the Eagles improved their play from the first time they faced them last weekend. JU improved their scores and fought to the end, 30-21, 31-29, 30-17. Danielle Dull (Waupan, Wisc.) led the way with eight kills on 18 attempts. She also had 16 digs and one block. Alesha Flikkema (Delavan, Wisc.) also contributed seven kills with no errors on 11 attempts. Freshman Carly Campioni (Crystal Lake, Ill.) had 33 assists.
In match two, JU came up short vs. St. Ambrose, 30-23, 30-23, 30-17. Dull led the attack with six kills and no errors on 17 attempts. Campioni had 32 assists.
Judson will face Missouri Valley (10:00 a.m.) and St. Francis (12:30 p.m.) on Saturday, September 15th, in Joliet.
