Elgin, IL.- For the second week in a row and third time this year, Judson University has swept the CCAC men's soccer "Players of the Week" awards. This is the second week in a row that both Leonardo Silva (Brazil) and Alex Tyton (Elgin, IL) have won the award. It is the fourth time this season that Tyton has earned the award.

Both players played a role for Judson in winning their fifth straight CCAC Tournament Championship. Judson knocked off #2 Cardinal Stritch, 2-1, in overtime and then held off #1 Illinois Tech, 3-1, for the championship. Both matches were on the road.

Tyton, who collected 13 saves in two matches, had a career-high 12 saves in the CCAC Championship match against Illinois Tech. He only allowed two goals in two matches. Against Illinois Tech, he had eight saves in the second half and did not allow a goal until the 80th minute. He only recorded on save in the win against Cardinal Stritch.

Silva scored three goals on the week with two against Cardinal Stritch. It was the second week in a row that he had two goals vs. the Wolves as he also netted two on October 29th in the regular season finale. The second goal against Cardinal Stritch came in the 96th minute in overtime to give Judson the upset win. He then gave Judson the security goal in the 84th minute in the 3-1 win over Illinois Tech. He has now scored five goals in the last four matches.

Judson will now wait until Sunday, November 16th, to see who they will play in the first-round of the NAIA National Tournament. It will be the fifth straight tournament that they will be playing in.
