Elgin, IL.- Adding another stellar runner for the 2009 season, Judson University cross country coach Rich Weinhandl has signed Morgan Kimball from East Grand Rapids, Michigan. Kimball joins Crystal Lake South's (IL) Stephanie Belokon for the 2009 season.

Kimball is coming to Judson from East Grand Rapids High School in East Grand Rapids, Michigan. Her team just won the Michigan State Championship for cross country. She has been a part of two teams that have ran at state the past two seasons and has been a member of the team the past four seasons. She has been named the East Grand Rapids Athlete of the Month, once, and been given the team "Gutbuster of the Meet" award five times in her career. She has also ran on the track team ran at the Michigan Regionals the past three seasons.

Academically, she is the president of the EGR Spanish Club, the National Honor Society, the Summa Cume Laude honor roll, and in the top 15% of her class. She also participates in the Fellowship of Christian Athletes. She is the daughter of Mark and Brenda Kimball.

Judson will compete in the CCAC Championships this weekend in Bourbonnais, Ill., as they run for their first-ever CCAC Championship.
