#20 McKendree 3, Judson 0

Lebanon, IL - Facing their third ranked team of the 2008 season, Judson University (4-8-1) fell to #20 McKendree University (11-0-1), 3-0.  McKendree did all their scoring in the first half and only allowed six Judson shots on goal.

McKendree scored quickly in the match at the fourth minute and then made it 2-0 in the 22nd minute even before Judson took their first shot on goal in the 26th minute when Megan Satalino had a look.  In the 33rd minute, McKendree finished off their scoring for a 3-0 lead.  Judson's Baerbel Hartner and Emma Mugg both made a push for a goal in the final five minutes of the first half but both shots were saved.

Judson played even with McKendree in the second half as each team had six shots.  Brienne Bohman had a shot on goal in the 50th minute but could not get it in the net.  Hartner took a shot in the 89th minute but was denied as Judson was shutout.

McKendree had  13 shots to Judson's 11 and each team had six shots on goal.  Judson's Mackenzie Fowler had three saves in the loss.

Judson will travel to Whiting, Ind., on Tuesday, October 14th, to face Calumet College in CCAC play at 4:00 p.m.
