Cincinnati, OH - Improving their record to 9-3 and winning their fifth game in a row, Judson University (9-3/3-1) defeated Cincinnati Christian University (OH), 9-1. Four different Judson players recorded a goal in the win with two recording a hat trick.
Judson started off the first half scoring four times before Cincinnati Christian got on the board. Tom Kruse (Germany) made it 1-0 in the fifth minute on a combined assist from Milos Bajic (Serbia) and Gustavo Oliveira (Brazil). Just 30 seconds later Oliveira scored making the score 2-0. Adauto Oliveira (Brazil) collected the third and fourth goals of the half off passes from Oliveira and Vitor Bravo (Brazil).
Cincinnati scored their lone point in the 29th minute off the foot of Drew Roberts with an assist from Marel Gavarrete.
In the 49th minute freshman Ryan Reoppelle (Elgin, IL) made it 5-1 on assists from Kruse and Gustavo Oliveira. Bravo was next to score laying in a pass from Sanon Eustache (Haiti) and Gustavo Oliviera. Just 45 seconds later Adauto Oliviera collected his third goal scoring off a pass from Gustavo Oliviera. Rounding off the scoring in the game was Kruse as he put in two more shots in the 82nd and 85th minutes finishing off the game with the score 9-1.
Judson will travel to play Calumet College of St. Joseph on October 15th.
