Joliet, IL - Improving their record to 8-3 and winning their fourth game in a row, Judson University (8-3/3-1) defeated the University of St. Francis (IL), 5-2. Five different Judson players recorded a goal in the win.  With the win, Judson has now won six of their last seven matches.
 

Judson ran out to a 2-0 lead in the first half before St. Francis scored just before the half. Gustavo Oliveira (Brazil) made it 1-0 in the seventh minute on an assist from Matt Gloss (Elgin,IL) and Stewart Sogge (Elgin,IL). In the 36th minute, Tom Kruse (Germany) collected his first collegiate goal as Oliveira and Aduato Oliveira (Brazil) provided the passes to Kruse.

In the 60th Aduato Oliveira made it 3-1 on a free kick from 20-yards out and then 12 minutes later (62nd minute) Milos Bajic (Serbia) netted a goal for a three-goal advantage. St. Francis came within two goals, 4-2, when they scored in the 75th minute but Ryan Reopelle (Elgin,IL) scored his first-ever collegiate goal in the 80th minute on an assist from Gustavo Oliveira and Sanon Eustache (Haiti).

Judson will now travel to Cincinnati, Ohio, on Saturday, October 11th, to face Cincinnati Christian University at 3:00 p.m.
