Elgin, Ill.- Signing his first male runner for the 2009 season, Judson University cross country head coach Rich Weinhandl has locked in Zachary Adams. Adams comes to Judson from Badger High School in Lake Geneva, Wisconsin.

Adams will only make the Judson University men's cross country team better as he will bring his athleticism to the team. He is a two-time All-Conference first-team selection for cross country and has been the team MVP and captain for two years for both cross country and track. He was also All-Conference in track. He received the Achievement Plus award from the city of Lake Geneva for going to state for basketball and receiving four letters for cross country, three for track, and two for basketball.

Academically, he is a member of the National Honor Society and the High Honor Roll and ranks in the top 3% of his class. He is the senior class representative for student council, leader of the Club, and a member of Fellowship of Christian Athletes.

He is the son of Ross and Pamela Adams and will major in psychology.
