Judson 1, Trinity Christian 0 - Box Season Statistics
 
Palos Heights, IL - It took 84 minutes to break a 0-0 tie but Judson University's (6-3/1-1) Petar Bajic (Serbia) netted the lone goal of the match for a 1-0 win over Trinity Christian College (7-3-1/1-2) in CCAC play. It is the fourth game this season that Judson has won, 1-0.  With the win, Judson's Steve Burke now ties the NAIA men's soccer record for most career wins at 437.
 

Judson and Trinity Christian battled to a 0-0 tie in the first half but Judson had the upper hand as they outshot the Trolls, 9-3. Judson's Alex Tyton (Elgin, IL) stopped two of the three shots on goal as the team recorded one save.

Steve Burke needs just one more win to become the NAIA All-Time Career Wins Leader for men's soccer.

Trinity Christian had the first crack at scoring a goal in the 13th minute when Brady Davidson's shot in the box was saved by a Judson defender. In the 21st minute, Rogelio Guerrero's shot from the right wing was stopped by Tyton to keep the game scoreless. The Trolls only other shot on goal came in the 36th minute by Mohamed Mohamed but did not get by Tyton.

Bajic took the ball and collected his third goal of the season in the 84th minute for the game winning goal in the second half. Judson once again out shot Trinity Christian, six to one, and did not allow any shots on goal.

Overall, Judson out shot Trinity Christian, 15-4, and Judson and only allowed one shot in the second half. Tyton collected his fourth shutout of the season and is now 4-1 on the year.

Judson will now face Trinity International University on Saturday, October 4th, at 3:30 p.m., in Deerfield, IL, as Steve Burke will try to break the NAIA record for career wins with 438.
