Chicago, IL - Gaining their first win of the season, the Judson University volleyball team (1-7) won their second match of the day in the North Park University Tournament. Judson came from behind to defeat Grinnell (IA), 3-1. In the first match of the day, they fell to Purdue-North Central, 3-1.
 

Overall, Danielle Dull (Waupan, Wisc.) led Judson with 21 kills while Kiley Helgerson had 43 assists.

In match one, Judson fell to Purdue-North Central, 3-1. Purdue-North Central won game one, 25-8, but then fell in game two, 25-22. Bouncing back, Purdue-North Central won game three, 25-17, and game four only by two, 26-24. Dull had 10 kills and four serving aces in the loss. Carolyn Terwilliger (Kansas City, MO) had 12 digs and Helgerson recorded 20 assists.

Judson won their first match of the year in a 3-1 win over NCAA Division III Grinnell College. Judson fell in game one, 25-19, but then won three straight, 25-22, 25-23, and 25-17. Dull once again led the team with 11 kills while Helgerson had 23 assists. Debra Leganski (Elgin, IL) dug 15 balls while Tracey Enzenbacher (St. Charles, IL) recorded 13 digs. Enzenbacher also had five serving aces and Eleanor Walter (Albuquerque, NM) collected two blocks.

Judson will be back in action against NCAA Division III Illinois College at 12:00 p.m. and North Park University at 4:00 p.m.
