
Costa received his first start and made the most of it only allowing one goal and recording five saves as Judson held off Grand View, who was receiving votes in the national poll. He also made a big play in the 21st minute to keep a tie in the game. With the score 1-1, he stopped a Grand View College penalty kick to preserve the tie. Judson went on to score one more goal in the first half and one in the second to make it 3-1.
Judson will travel to Indiana this weekend as they face Taylor University on Friday, September 5th, at 4:00 p.m. and then Indiana Wesleyan at 4:00 p.m. on Saturday, September 6th.
