Danielle Dull (Waupan, Wisc.) led Judson with 15 kills in two games and had four total blocks with three solos. Deb Leganski (Elgin, Ill.) recorded 25 digs.

In match one, Judson fell in three games to Michigan-Dearborn, 25-14, 25-16, 25-8. Judson fell back 8-0 in game one and never recovered. In game two, Judson jumped out to a 4-1 lead only to see Michigan-Dearborn go on an 11-2 run to take a 12-6 lead. Judson did fight back to within two, 16-14, but didn't get any closer. After being down 4-0 in game three, Judson scored five straight points with a kill and four great serves by Carolyn Terwilliger (Kansas City, Mo.) to take a 5-4 lead. Michigan-Dearborn went on a 6-1 run and jumped ahead by four points. Judson only scored two more points after that in the loss.

Match two of the game brought more competition against St. Francis (4-1). Judson took a 5-2 lead in game on only to see St. Francis out score Judson, 13-2 for a 15-7 advantage. Judson tightened the score to three, 15-12, on an Eleanor Walter (Albuquerque, NM) kill. St. Francis scored the next three points and then only allowed Judson three more points in the game. Judson stayed with St. Francis in game two with four ties. After a 5-5 tie, St. Francis went on a 5-1 run for a 10-6 lead. Judson could not catch the Cougars after that. After a 2-1 lead in game three for Judson, St. Francis had an 11-3 run to take control of the game. They went on for a 25-13 win for the match.
