PALOS HEIGHTS, IL — The Judson University men's soccer team looked to continue its winning ways after winning Saturday against Trinity International for homecoming. The Eagles got off to a good start when Eduardo Liebers netted his first goal of the season a shot from the top of the box in the 15th minute to give Judson the early 1-0 advantage. The Eagles held on to their lead and added an insurance tally in the 90th minute when Bruno Haianon (SO/San Paulo, Brazil) scored his team-high 13th goal from the left side of the net to give Judson the 2-0 advantage.

Adrian Padilla (SR/Tepatitlan, Jalisco, Mexico) made two saves to record his third shutout of the season. With the victory, the Eagles improve to 2-1 in conference, which is good enough to be tied for fourth place in the CCAC. The Eagles' overall record is 8-2.

Judson returns to action at home on Saturday against St. Xavier at 2:30 p.m.
