The Judson University Women's Volleyball team participated in a weekend tournament at Clarke University in Dubuque, Iowa on Friday and Saturday after hosting Robert Morris on Tuesday. The Eagles took Friday's match in five sets against Avila University Friday before falling to Baker University and Clarke University on Saturday.

The Eagles began the weekend on a high note by defeating Avila in five sets 20-25, 25-14, 25-18, 26-28, 15-11. Taylor Konchel (SO/Bartlett, Ill.) and Kenzie Ebert each had 13 kills to lead all players. Stefanie Puczek (SO/Hampshire, Ill.) and Katie Valeria (FR/Dodgeville, Wis.) also recorded double-digit kills with 10 each. Claire Speweik (SR/Elgin, Ill.) led the Eagles with two aces.

On Saturday, the Eagles first faced Baker. After taking the first set, Judson lost the next three to fall in four sets 27-25, 20-25, 18-25, 20-25. Ebert led all Judson players with seven kills. Konchel and Valeria each had six. Natalie Ricca (SR/Crystal Lake, Ill.) had 15 assists, while Kofie had 10. Valeria had a pair of aces to lead Judson. The loss snapped Judson's four-match winning streak as the Eagles had not suffered a defeat since September 12.

Judson's second Saturday match was against Clarke. After falling in the first two sets, the Eagles won the next two to force a decisive fifth set before eventually falling 13-25, 8-25, 25-22, 25-19, 8-15. Konchel led all Judson players (and tied the match high) with 11 kills. Kofie's 15 assists were a team high for the match. Clara McDowell (SR/Elgin, Ill.) had 17 digs which led all players.

The Eagles will look to return to their winning ways as they return home Tuesday for a CCAC conference matchup against Roosevelt at 7:00 p.m.
